March 14th, 2018 (Corona, CA.) – As the days keep clicking by, The Jump Champs May event is fast approaching with three events to complete an off-road weekend! Drivers who enter into the May Time Trials will not only have access to race against the clock, but also compete in the Desert Drags and Jump Contest!
Don’t let Day Light Savings get you down. With more day light, The Jump Champs weekend is better than ever! Saturday, May 12th marks the return of the Jump Contest where drivers shoot for the stars and clear landings as far as 185 feet!
Plan on making the entire weekend? If not, you best get to the track Friday May 11th for the Time Trials Open Practice and stick around Friday Night for the super fun Desert Drags. We had a blast with this back in December as did the drivers and crowd, so by popular demand, it is becoming a regular featured event. Desert Drags will pair two vehicles together on an off-road drag course, feature a turn-a-bout at the far end, and then race back to the finish. We are limiting the Desert Drags to 16 entries, 8 brackets, and 1 winner!
ONE PAID ENTRY GETS YOU INTO THREE EVENTS!
The Jump Champs, Desert Drags, and Time Trials Only are made possible by Dirt Alliance, The Fab School, Hangar 24 Craft Brewing, Heat Wave Visual, KarTek, K&N Performance Filters, Monster Energy, Rugged Radiosy, Titan Fuel Tanks, Desolate Motorsports, McNeil Racing Inc., PRP, Tubeworks Race Line Products, ZROADZ Dynamic LED Mounting Solutions, Ultimate PreRunners, Pole Position, CPI Resources, and Attain Media.
ABOUT THE JUMP CHAMPS
The Jump Champs main focus is gathering the fans, the enthusiasts, the recreational off road vehicle or UTV owners and giving them a place to show off their vehicles and driving ability. With featured events such as The Jump Champs, The Time Trials, and The Desert Drags are contest of skill which allows for the most participation with very affordable entry fees. This event has been long overdue and we are excited to team up with sponsors, big name racers and the iconic Glen Helen Raceway to bring this event to the masses. The goal is to bring the average spectator out to be part of the event, instead of sitting in the stands.
